Man dies in motorcycle crash in Grand Junction

A Grand Junction man died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash late Saturday. Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid told the Daily Sentinel that 43-year-old Christopher Nishi was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson Thunder eastbound on E Road, just east of 30 Road, when the bike struck the curb during a turn in the road. The crash was reported around 10 p.m. Nishi died from his injuries at St. Mary’s Hospital.
