Erie,PA : Lake City woman killed in Conneaut Township crash on April, Saturday 14th 2018

A Lake City woman died Saturday night from injuries in a crash on Route 6N in Conneaut Township, Girard state police reported.

Authorities did not release the name of the woman, 40. The crash was reported at 9:18 p.m. in the 12200 block of Route 6N.

The woman was driving east on Route 6N when she lost control of her vehicle, which struck a guard rail along the south side of the road, police said.

The vehicle continued east along the guard rail, then veered into the Route 6N westbound lanes and crossed the north side of the road before it crashed into a utility pole, police said.

The woman was taken to UPMC Hamot, where she was pronounced dead by Erie County Deputy Coroner John Maloney, police said.
