PINELLAS PARK, FL : Bicyclist dies after crash in Pinellas Park on Sunday, 18th February 2024

A bicyclist died from their injuries after they were hit by a car overnight on 66th Street North, police said.

The crash happened just after midnight Sunday in the area of 65th Avenue and 66th Street, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Police say the bicyclist was crossing midblock from east to west when they were hit by a car. The person was taken to an area hospital, where they later died.
