Howland, OH : Eight people injured after a three-vehicle crash on Elm Road on Tuesday afternoon, February 14, 2017

Eight people were taken to area hospitals after a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Elm Road.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a northbound pickup went off the right side of the road at Schenley Avenue in front of Enzo’s around 5:30 p.m., lost control and went left of center, striking a southbound car head-on. The impact caused that vehicle to strike another southbound vehicle, a troooper said.

The trooper said four ambulances from Howland and Med Star took eight people to Trumbull Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph Health Center, but none had life-threatening injuries.

The patrol said the crash still is under investigation and no charges have been filed.
