Colebrook, N.H : 2 killed, 1 hurt in head-on crash on Route 3 in Colebrook on Tuesday, January 6, 2015

Colebrook police are investigating at deadly crash on Route 3 that left two people dead.
Police said they responded to the head-on crash shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday. The crash happened in front of the Colebrook rest area.

Two people who were traveling in the same car were pronounced dead on scene. The woman driving the other car was treated for minor injuries.

The highway was closed for two hours while police investigated. Traffic was diverted through the rest area.

Police declined to identify the victims pending notifications. The crash is under investigation.
