Cullman, AL : Falkville man dies in early morning wreck on Thursday, 14th June 2018

A single-vehicle crash at 2 a.m. Thursday morning claimed the life of a Falkville man. According to Alabama State Troopers, Phillip Wayne Penn, 60, was killed when the 2000 Jeep Wrangler he was driving left Alabama 36 and struck a tree at the 29 mile marker six miles east of Hartselle. Penn, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers continue to investigate.
