JACKSONVILLE, FL : Deadly crash, involving teens on I-295 near Lem Turner on Sunday, 28th February 2021

A 22-year-old is dead and four others are seriously injured after crashing into several trees on I-295 near Lem Turner Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report, a Kia Sportage was traveling southbound on I-295 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled onto the right shoulder into tree lines, striking several trees.

The driver, a 22-year-old male from Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
