Halfmoon,NY : Schuylerville man faces felony DWI following Northway crash on June, Thursday 15th 2017
State Police arrested a Schuylerville man on Thursday night following an automobile accident on the Northway.
According to State Police, Michael B. Taylor, 26, was operating a motor vehicle just after 10:30 p.m. at speeds of more than 100 mph when he rear ended a vehicle ahead of him.
State Police administered standardized field sobriety tests on Taylor that he subsequently failed and was arrested for DWI. A small amount of marijuana was also discovered in his vehicle.
According to a news release, Taylor was transported to the Wilton barracks and provided a breath sample determining a .18 percent BAC. Police charged him with aggravated DWI and felony DWI for having a previous DWI conviction within in the past 10 years.
No injuries were reported in the crash and Taylor was processed and released to a sober third party to appear in court at a later date.
