Port Charlotte motorcyclist dies in crash
A motorcyclist died Friday evening in Port Charlotte after crashing into a delivery truck that troopers say turned in front of him.It happened at 5:15pm on David Boulevard.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Max Price of Port Charlotte was driving his Kawasaki motorcycle southwest on David Boulevard. That's when a delivery box truck that was headed the other direction on David made a left turn onto Dayton Lane, turning into the path of the motorcycle.The motorcycle crashed into the right side of the truck and Price was knocked off the bike. He was transported to Peace River Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
