NASHVILLE, TE : Nashville man killed in two-vehicle crash on Old Hickory Blvd on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The crash happened at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Barnes Road after a Nissan Altima ran a stop sign, MNPD said.

The preliminary investigation shows the Nissan was traveling at a high rate of speed on Old Hickory Blvd. and ran a stop sign at Barnes Road. While running the stop sign, the Nissan hit the passenger side of a Dodge Dart that was traveling east on Barnes Road, MNPD said.

The collision caused the Nissan to travel into a field, roll and come to a rest on the driver’s side.
