New Mexico, Belen: A fatal crash on Interstate 25 on Sunday, 17th June 2018

At about 10 p.m., Sunday, June 18, New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal crash on Interstate 25 around mile post 203 north of Belen.

The initial investigation indicates a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling south on Interstate 25 and for unknown reasons left the roadway into the median and rolled.

The driver, Antonio Tovias Mendoza, 31, of Belen, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
