Spartanburg County, SC : Gaffney woman dies in Spartanburg traffic accident on Sunday, 1st February 2019

A Gaffney woman was killed in a 3-vehicle crash Friday morning on Business I-85 in Spartanburg County that injured a 4-month-old infant and three other people.
Jessica Dawn Jones, 24, of 117 Pipeline Drive was identified as the victim by Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.
Two minivans were stopped in traffic at approximately 8:30 a.m. while headed north on Business I-85 at Mile Marker 2 when a 2016 Freightliner tractor trailer crashed into the back of the vehicles, said Trooper Joe Hovis of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Jones was a passenger in a 2003 Kia minivan and had to be extricated from the vehicle following the accident, according to Hovis.
The driver of the Kia, along with a passenger and a 4-monthold infant were injured and transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
