Midland,MI : Injury accidents 9-21 on September, Tuesday 19th 2017

North Maplecrest Drive near West Maplecrest Drive -- Driver Deborah Kay Smith, 58, and her passenger, Elizabeth Michelle Palmer, 17, both of Sanford, were hurt when the vehicle they were in was sideswiped by another vehicle. They did not seek treatment. The other driver, Scott A. Kerns, 32, Sanford, was not hurt. He left the scene on foot before authorities arrived. The crash is being investigated.
• 7:48 a.m. -- North Castor Road and West Curtis Road -- Drivers Donna Faye Kory, 38, Beaverton, and Roderick Anthony Gillette, 31, plus his passenger, Michael Paul Gillette, 34, both of Coleman, were hurt when two vehicles collided. They were all taken to MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland for treatment. Kory was cited for violation of the basic speed law.
