Staten Island, NY : Truck crashes into furniture showroom on Richmond Avenue Monday night, April 25, 2016

A truck slammed through the front of a furniture store on Richmond Avenue Monday night.

Emergency personnel received a call at around 6:22 p.m. of a vehicle that had crashed into the Noble Furniture showroom on Richmond Avenue in Bulls Head, an FDNY spokesman said.

One person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton, the spokesman said.

Police were still on scene Monday evening as the store's owner swept broken shards of glass off pieces of furniture outside the store. He declined comment.

No charges have been filed against the driver, police said.
