Phoenix, AZ : Woman killed in south Phoenix collision near Seventh Avenue and Alta Vista Road on Wednesday, 18th December, 2019

Phoenix police identified a woman killed in a collision Wednesday in south Phoenix as 32-year-old Irma Pedroza.

The collision happened shortly after 1 p.m. near Seventh Avenue and Alta Vista Road, just south of Southern Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Pedroza was driving south on Seventh Avenue in a 2009 Infinity G37 when she was struck by a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser that didn't completely stop at a stop sign at Alta Vista Road and then attempted to cross Seventh Avenue, police said Thursday.
