Alafaya, FL : 18-year-old woman dead in crash on Friday, September 4th 2015

An 18-year-old woman is dead after a crash Friday on Alafaya Trail near University of Central Florida's campus, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The woman was heading northbound around 7:20 p.m. on Alafaya when the left tire on her vehicle blew out causing her to lose control, said Sgt. Kim Montes, spokeswoman for FHP.
The 2006 Mustang she was driving then left the road, overturned and struck a pole, Montes said.
The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
