BEMIDJI, MN : Woman killed in crash with bread truck in Bemidji on Friday, 28th June 2019
An 18-year-old female from Redby was killed early Friday morning, June 28, in a collision with a bread truck just south of Bemidji.The crash occurred at the intersection of state Highway 197 and Carr Lake Road Southeast and was reported just after 6 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.According to the report, the 2012 Ford bread truck was northbound on Highway 197 and a 2002 Ford Explorer was westbound on Carr Lake Road when the vehicles collided. The woman driving the Explorer was killed in the crash. The report did not say if she was wearing a seat belt. Her name has not been released pending notification of family.
A 19-year-old male passenger in the Explorer, Blaine White, of Redby, was taken to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, the report said. The driver of the bread truck, Brandon Coder, 38, of Bemidji, was also taken to Sanford Bemidji with injuries that were not life-threatening. Both were wearing their seat belts, the report said.
