Birmingham woman killed Friday in Shelby County wreck

A Birmingham woman was killed in a Friday morning accident on Alabama 119 two miles south of Hoover.
Tracy M. Owens, 46, was killed when her northbound Toyota Solara collided head-on with a 2012 Toyota Highlander at 11:40 a.m.,

Alabama Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Steve Jarrett said.

The driver of the Highlander, John Traywick, 47, and a passenger, Joseph Traywick, 58, both of Pleasant Grove, were taken to UAB Hospital and were in critical condition Friday night, a hospital spokesman said.
