Milwaukee, WI : Motorcyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run crash on Monday night, October 3, 2016

Milwaukee police said they're looking for a 2001 or newer Mitsubishi Montero four-door SUV that took off Monday night after crashing into a man on a motorcycle.

A man in his 20s was hit at about 8:50 p.m. when he failed to stop at a red light at West Mitchell Street and South Muskego Avenue. The SUV was northbound on Muskego, police said.

After the crash, the SUV stopped briefly before driving away.

The victim suffered very serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
