Blue Earth County, MN : 1 dead in Blue Earth County crash, alcohol suspected as a factor on Saturday, 30th December 2023

A man is dead after a crash in Blue Earth County on Saturday.

A report from the Minnesota State Patrol states that a Volk Jetta was traveling southbound on Highway 60 when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled.

Mikael James Newton, 21, of Madison Lake, died as a result of the crash. State Patrol officials say alcohol was a factor in the crash.
