Dauphin County ,PA : 27- Years old New york Man killed after Truck was Struck while driving along I-81 on Saturday, December 20th 2014

A New York man died early Saturday when the truck he was driving crashed on I-81 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, state police at Harrisburg said.

Police said the 27-year-old Staten Island man was driving north on the interstate in the left lane when he attempted to change lanes at 1:50 a.m. He lost control of the truck, and it traveled into the median for 450 feet at mile marker 70.8. The truck traveled back onto the northbound lanes for 200 feet and flipped onto its driver's side. The truck slid for approximately 120 feet on its side and struck a guard rail. The driver was wearing a seat belt but died at the scene. State police said they will release his name after his next of kin are notified.
