Memphis, TN : 1 killed, 2 injured after truck hit tree on Thursday, March 29th 2017

One man was killed and two others were injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday night.

Kalem Rouse, 25, of Piggott died following the crash, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash happened on Clay County Road 341 around 11:15 p.m.

A preliminary crash report states Jeffery Dunlap, 35, was driving a 1987 Chevrolet truck south when it topped a hill and went airborne. The truck came down, lost control and struck a tree.

Rouse and Dunlap along with 29-year-old Joe Rouse were all thrown from the truck.

Kalem Rouse was pronounced dead at a Piggott hospital by Dr. Clinton Smith, ASP stated.

Dunlap and Joe Rouse were taken to hospitals in Jonesboro and Memphis. The report did not state which man went to which hospital.
