Hockessin, DE : Woman, 2-year-old child, injured in rollover crash in New Castle County on Saturday, April 30, 2016
A woman and a 2-year-old were injured after the car they were traveling in rolled over at an intersection in Hockessin, according to New Castle County Paramedics.
Emergency responders were called at 10:23 a.m. to the intersection of Millcreek Road and Brackenville Road following reports of a crash with a car on its roof, said Corporal David J. McKinney, Jr., public information officer with New Castle County Paramedics.
Paramedics assisted the woman and toddler at the scene, McKinney said, and the small child was transported to AI duPont Hospital for Children by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. The child's condition is stable, according to McKinney.
The adult victim's condition is unknown at this time. However, paramedics say the female was not transported to the hospital by ambulance.
New Castle County Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
