Mobile, AL : Two Tennessee women killed in fatal car crash in Alabama Saturday, August 6, 2016

Two women from Tennessee died over the weekend after being involved in a fatal car crash on U.S. 45 at the 13.7 mile marker ten miles north of Mobile.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Spokesman, Jamie Maloy reported that a two-vehicle crash at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday (Aug 6) claimed two lives and injured four others. Mary W. Robinson, 64, of Memphis, Tenn., was killed when the 2015 Lexus she was driving collided with a Ford Escape.

The driver of the Ford, Amanda L. Murley, 26, of Cordova, Tenn., was also killed in the crash. Four other passengers were transported to University of South Alabama Medical Center for treatment.

The ALEA has not given an update on the status of the four passengers at this time.
