Council Bluffs, IA : California woman injured in I-80 wreck in Cass County on Friday, May 20, 2016

A California woman was injured in a rollover vehicle accident caused by fatigue in Cass County Friday.

Jill Feil, 50, of Visalia, California, was driving westbound on Interstate 80 near the 55-mile marker in a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner when she drifted onto the shoulder, then overcorrected, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

The Toyota crossed entered the median and rolled multiple times before coming to rest in a concrete median, the state patrol said. The wreck occurred at 11:30 a.m.

A private vehicle took Feil to Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver was wearing a seatbelt, the state patrol said.
