Raleigh , NC : Driver of a vehicle fled his car after crashing it along New Bern Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, November25th 2014

A manhunt continued Tuesday afternoon for the driver of a vehicle who fled his car after crashing it along New Bern Avenue. The North Carolina Highway Patrol said a man crashed his vehicle on New Bern Avenue and then fled the scene of the crash. Dozens of law enforcement officers were at the scene Tuesday afternoon, some with guns drawn as drivers went past wondering what was happening. A police helicopter joined the search. Troopers, as well as Raleigh police officers, are searching for the suspect along I-440 East between Exit 14 and the 64-264 bypass. source : Troopers, police search for Raleigh driver who fled the scene of crash
