MILWAUKEE, WI : Girl, 11, recovering from head injuries after hit-and-run on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2016

An 11-year-old girl is in fair condition after being struck by a vehicle as she rode her bike Tuesday evening near North 27th and West Burleigh streets, police said.

Dominique Ford said a dark-colored van ran over her daughter, Katty Bartley, about 7:30 p.m. and drove off.
