Chicago, IL : Head-on collision in south suburban Chicago kills 4 people, injures child on Friday, July 4, 2014

A car and a pickup truck have collided head-on in south suburban Chicago, killing four people and injuring a child.

The crash took place around 5:30 p.m. Friday in Bridgeview.

Police say two men in a Chevrolet Camaro were killed. Two people in the pickup truck also died. A child in the truck was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash was still under investigation Saturday.
