CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN : Minivan driver killed in crash on Indiana 32 near Montgomery County Road 900 East on Monday, 9th December, 2019

The driver of a westbound minivan died Monday afternoon in a head-on crash on Indiana 32 near Montgomery County Road 900 East, according to the sheriff's office.

The minivan crossed the center line about 2:20 p.m. Monday and into the path of an eastbound pickup truck driven by Mark V. Dirksen, 19, of Muncie, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Dirksen was treated at Franciscan Hospital in Crawfordsville for injuries that were not life threatening, according to the sheriff's office.

The driver of the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.

The identity of the minivan driver has not been released yet, according to the sheriff's office.
