Baytown, TX : Man hit, killed by pickup on Fred Hartman Bridge on Friday morning, January 6, 2017

A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Baytown on Friday morning, police said.

The crash closed all northbound lanes of Highway 146 at Fred Hartman Bridge just before 5 a.m. By 7:20 a.m., the lanes had reopened.

Police said the 32-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was walking in and out of traffic in the 2600 block of State Highway when he was hit. The man died at the scene, police said.

Police are investigating whether the crash was intentional or an accident.
