TUCSON, AZ : One dead in Tucson motorcycle crash on Thursday, 27th June 2024

The Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that shut down westbound Valencia traffic today, June 27, between 6th Avenue West and 12th Avenue.

Tucson Police said the crash happened around 1:00 p.m.

Authorities said the motorcyclist died at the scene. Police identified the motorcyclist as 69-year-old William Joseph Kerin. His family was notified.

During the investigation, authorities determined that the motorcyclist was riding westbound on Valencia Road when he hit a raised median and later hit
