Tallahassee, FL : 1 killed in night crash on U.S. 1 on Thursday, 1st November 2018

One person was killed Thursday night in a two-car crash on U.S. 1 just south of Wildwood Drive.

The driver of Dodge Caravan, who has not been named pending family notification, died at Flagler Hospital after the 9:30 p.m. crash near Andora Street, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The Caravan, the release said, was traveling west on Andora “approaching the intersection of US-1” when it was struck by a Jeep Wrangler that was traveling northbound on the highway.

The Caravan, the release said, violated the Jeep’s right-of-way.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries.
