Gadsden, AL : Sardis woman killed in one-vehicle crash; others injured on Sunday, December 4th, 2016
A Sardis woman lost her life in a vehicle crash Sunday, according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Frances Marie Jarmon, 43, died after the 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier she was riding in left the roadway and struck an embankment on Bruton Gap Road near the intersection of Hazel Bend Road. The accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
The single-vehicle crash injured three others in the vehicle. Two were transported to a Birmingham hospital; the other, to a Gadsden hospital.
In addition to the Sunday night fatal crash, a Glencoe teen was killed in a single vehicle crash on North College Street Sunday afternoon.
Hunter Hamlin, 16, was the only occupant in his vehicle. He was a junior at Glencoe High School.
