Orangeburg, SC : One person died and other injuredin car crash on Saturday October 24 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on Homestead Road near the city of Orangeburg.
Investigators say at about 4:20 a.m. Saturday the car went off the road, hit several trees and then overturned.
There were two people in the car when it crashed. Troopers say both were thrown from the vehicle. One of the victims died on the scene and the other person was taken to the hospital. Troopers say neither of them were wearing a seat belt.
The Orangeburg County Coroner has not yet released the name of the victim who died.
The Highway Patrol says they have not been able to determine who was driving since both occupants were thrown from the vehicle.
