Auburn, NY : Moravia woman crashed car after driving drunk in Niles on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016
A Moravia woman is facing a felony charge after she allegedly drove drunk and crashed her car in the town of Niles Thursday afternoon, police said.
Auburn-based state police said 57-year-old Wendy Butler was traveling on Route 38A around 1:43 p.m. when she drove off the road and into a ditch. Her car hit an earth embankment, causing it to overturn. Police said emergency responders found Butler stuck in her seat belt hanging sideways, and she had to be cut out.
