Jacksonville ,FL : 64- Years old Jay Clifford McKinley Critically injured after car hit the side of the scooter on Friday ,May 22nd 2015

Jay Clifford McKinley, 64, was driving a black scooter was on Floyd Street, trying to turn left onto the northbound lanes of U.S. 17.
Ashley Havens, 27, was driving a gold Mazda Protégé southbound on U.S.17.
The scooter drove into the path of the Mazda and the car hit the side of the scooter.
The scooter driver was thrown into the road. He was taken to UF Health for treatment for critical injuries.
The southbound lanes of U.S. 17 were partially shut down for about 2 hours as a result of the crash.
