Cincinnati, OH : Megan Cowen, 46, died in fatal crash on Interstate 75 on Wednesday, Aug 5, 2015

Police have identified the driver killed in a crash Wednesday on Interstate 75 that shut down northbound lanes for over an hour.

Megan Cowen, 46, of Blue Ash was driving a Hyundai Sonata on the ramp from the Norwood Lateral to northbound I-75 just after 8:30 a.m. when she struck a guardrail and a median, police said.

Cowen was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she died from her injuries. Police say she was not wearing her seat belt.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 opened at approximately 10:15 a.m.

According to the accident report, two other people were in the car at the time of the accident. Their conditions are unknown.
