Lawrence, MA : New Hampshire man killed in motorcycle crash on the ramp from Route 495 north to Commonwealth Drive on Friday, October 17, 2014

State police responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash around 4:40 p.m. Friday in Lawrence. A 42-year-old man from Londonderry, New Hampshire, was traveling on a 2007 Harley-Davidson when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. The crash occurred on the ramp from Route 495 north to Commonwealth Drive. The motorcyclist was transported to Lawrence General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It is unknown at this time whether or not any other vehicles were involved. The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of family members.
