CALEDONIA, MI : Coroner identifies Harvard woman who died in fatal crash in the area of Illinois Route 173 on Friday, 30th November 2018

Alexandria Dobyns, 24, of Harvard has been identified as the woman fatally struck by a vehicle Friday in the area of Illinois Route 173 and Caledonia Road in rural Boone County.

Winnebago County Coroner William Hintz said Monday that Dobyns was in a vehicle before she got out near the intersection and was struck by another vehicle.

Dobyns was transported to OSF Saint Anthony Hospital, where she died from her injuries. No one else was injured.

Autopsy results released Monday show she died of blunt trauma to the head, neck, chest and abdomen, Hintz said. The death remains under investigation.
