CADDO PARISH, LA : Woman dies after multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 1 on Monday, 10th June 2024

A woman from DeQuincy died in a multi-vehicle crash in North Caddo, according to the Caddo Parish Coroner.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. in the 6000 block of LA Highway 1, fatally injuring 65-year-old Donna Nelson.

According to the coroner, the crash occurred on Hwy 1 between Scarpengo Road and the Roy Road Extension. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:22 p.m.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
