Garden City jogger struck and killed by car in Michigan

Police say a 64-year old woman was struck and killed by a car while jogging in Garden City Friday.At around noon, the victim was jogging on Kensington Road near the intersection of Salisbury Avenue when she was accidentally struck by a 2003 Honda CRV driven by a 43 year old West Hempstead woman who was traveling northbound on Kensington Road.
The victim, who sustained multiple trauma injuries, was pronounced dead later at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola.Her identity has not yet been released.The driver stayed at the scene and no charges were filed.
