Ventura,CA : One person injured in Crash after vehicle crashed into the center divider near Boulevard and Harvey Drive on Wednesday ,February 18th 2015

A Sig Alert for the No. 4 lane on the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway was issued at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday after a vehicle crashed into the center divider.

A call came in at 12:27 p.m. reporting a black Mercedes went up the embankment into the bushes between Colorado Boulevard and Harvey Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic log.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was assigned to the scene, along with Animal Control to assist with a cat inside a carrier in the vehicle.

One injured party was transported to the hospital, according to the log.

The Sig Alert was expected to last for 30 minutes.
