Blair,NE : Two car accident at 14th and Colfax on June, thursday 8th 2017

A car accident took place on 14th and Colfax streets in Blair at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday when an eastbound Buick Regal was struck by the driver of a southbound red GMC utility truck. The truck driver paused at the 14th St. stop sign, and apparently did not see the Buick driver.

He struck the Buick's driver side front tire, causing substantial damage and pushing her vehicle up onto an embankment. A citation will be issued to the truck driver for failure to yield.

Neither car had passengers. Both drivers were examined and released on the scene. The names of those involved have not been released yet.
