Ludlow, MA : Motorcyclist injured in Ludlow crash on Tuesday, March 21, 2017

A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday when he crashed into a car that was backing out of a driveway.

Police Sgt. Brian Shameklis said the 23-year-old rider was taken to the hospital. The nature of his injuries is unclear.

The crash occurred in front of 754 Center St. at around 7 p.m.

No one inside the struck car was hurt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Depending on the outcome, Shameklis said charges could be forthcoming for the motorcyclist.
