Larimore,ND : Drivers injured in crash near Larimore on February, Tuesday 6th 2018
Two drivers were injured in a crash Tuesday in Grand Forks County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 4:10 p.m. when an eastbound 2016 Buick Regal on U.S. Highway 2, about 2.5 miles northeast of Larimore, N.D., was struck on the passenger side by a westbound 1997 Ford Explorer that was attempting to cross the eastbound lane to enter a residential driveway. Both vehicles entered the ditch, according to the patrol.
The driver of the Buick, Andrew Maragos, 73, Minot, and the driver of the Ford, Travis Holt, 33, of Grand Forks, were both injured and transported by Larimore Ambulance Service to Altru Health System in Grand Forks. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and an air bag was deployed in the Buick.
Holt was charged with failed to yield right of way, the patrol said. The crash remains under investigation by the patrol.
Grand Forks County Sheriff's Office and Larimore Fire Department also responded to the scene.
