One person was taken to an area hospital following a tractor-trailer fire in Dorchester County early Tuesday morning.
The tractor-trailer driver was headed west on I-26 around 4 a.m. when he ran off the road, hit some trees and caught fire, according to South Carolina highway patrol trooper Matt Southern.
The tractor-trailer also hit an unoccupied car in the emergency lane, Southern said.
