Elko New Market, MN : Suspect arrested in fatal pedestrian crash in Scott County on Sunday, September 25, 2016

Police in Scott County say they’ve caught up with the motorcyclist that struck and killed a pedestrian before fleeing.

The 24-year-old woman was hit by the motorcycle Sunday about 2:30 a.m. in Elko New Market. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Scott County sheriff’s deputies and local police investigated and found the suspect who was booked into the county jail.
