Haughton, LA: Woman killed in I-20 crash in Haughton identified on Friday, July 24th 2015

Louisiana State Police have identified the woman killed in a one-vehicle crash on I-20 near Haughton early Friday afternoon.48-year-old Nancy Myrick of Broken Bow, Oklahoma was traveling east on I-20, when it exited the roadway, struck a guard rail, and crashed into a group of trees.Neither Myrick or her two passengers were restrained at the time of the crash, police say.Myrick was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 2 passengers were taken to University Health for minor injuries.State police say impairment is not suspected in this crash. However, a toxicology sample was obtained from Myrick and will be submitted for analysis.The crash remains under investigation.
