A Margaretville man has died after the car he was driving plunged into a creek in Delaware County on Tuesday.

New York State Police responded to a report of a one-vehicle collision just after noon near Huckleberry Brook Road in Middletown, where authorities determined Rion Gavette, 32, had been traveling eastbound in a 2012 Subaru Outback, when the vehicle went off the road and into a roadside creek, coming to rest on its passenger side.
