A crash involving a pedestrian Sunday morning closed Concord Pike in Brandywine Hundred near the Delaware and Pennsylvania border, according to Delaware State Police.

The crash occurred at 10:35 a.m. on Concord Pike near Brandywine Parkway, police said. The road opened around 11:45 a.m.

The state's department of transportation reported that all north lanes of Concord Pike had been closed and traffic is passed only in the right shoulder.

Police described the nature of the crash as "serious" but did not offer further details.
